Contrary to its name, Rosengart is not French, despite the fact that Lucien Rosengart was the one of the inventors of foosball. One thing is for sure, he has all sorts of trademarks associated with foosball tables. In contrast Rosengart is a table manufacturer with Czech and Slovak roots, and only in the country inhabited by the two Slavic peoples, in Slovakia and the Czech Republic are used for racing. The special thing about the table is that you can't buy practically used ones, because nobody sells them. Or if they do, they sell them once a light-year, the company being more interested in selling and renting new tables.
Although we don't generally refer to them as "Slovak or Czech" tables, their models actually neither the German, nor the Italian, nor the American type are not classified as sports equipment, mostly as a hybrid of a species they should be considered. The tables are made in the Czech Republic and the balls in Germany, so only the development and design of some of the components - the figures, the court surface, the balls and a few other details - is done in Slovakia, so they are actually building with familiar materials, but they have managed to bring a bit of American flair to the style. That's why Leonhart, Tornado and Garlando players may be familiar with the gaming experience, and are able to adapt relatively quickly to the desktop type. By the way, Rosengart is the Slovak - the FUS - and the Czech - ROOTS, former CFO - Table Football Federation official table and the international federation, the Also recognised by ITSF - recognized in English, meaning it can be used for Pro Tour and Master Series events - it's a table.
The Rosengart product range
I will get over this part relatively quickly, because there are two types of Rosengart table: the Home and Tournament. The former is similar to the Garlando Family, with the same interior as the Tournament - track elements, dummies, playing surface, board - but the encapsulation is completely different, the table is much lighter, and the balance is quite bad. And the only thing that can make you stupid is the ball outlet, which is placed at the end of the table, so after every ball you shoot, you have to get up from the table, walk to the end and scoop it out. It's especially exciting if you practice with dozens of balls, as I did, because then you can kick the balls out while kneeling by the table. You can't push Home close to the wall either, because then you can't access the ejection slot. Plus, it's expensive, 1290 EUR are requested for, excluding taxes.

A About Tournament will be discussed in the next paragraph, but it is worth knowing that there is an audit version of them, which is deployed in entertainment venues and is essentially the same as the regular Tournament.
The Rosengart Tournament foosball table
The Tournament is the table that I think is even worth looking at from Rosengart's palette. It is a full-value tournament table, which, as I mentioned earlier, is a combination of other tables. The puppets are most similar to the Tornado puppets, which means they can be used to make great combo passes and straight shooting passes, but unlike the Tornado, there is a wedge-shaped part at the end of the dummy's foot, which makes them good for brusholing. Go to the track is a kind of mixed German/Italian solution, which means there is no ramp on the side, so you can hit a wall shot, but there is one in the corner, and it is not bent like a Leonhart or an Ullrich Sport. The ball is very similar to Leonhart's own, relatively heavy, but it bounces, so it flies off the table quite a lot.
The frame is crush resistant, the dummies are not cast on, but are struck on to the rod with a pin, as in P4P, so if something breaks, you can replace the battery. The dummies have no counterweight, so they have to be turned upside down, you can't rotate the rods horizontally because they "flatten". The special feature of the table body is that it is shaped like a 'boat', i.e. the longer side is lower, as the shorter side, because this is where the neon lights are installed. This has the advantage that the price already includes the lamp, you don't need to buy one and there's nothing hidden in the camera image if you want to record their matches. On the other hand. you often can't see what's happening on the pitch because of the high sidewall, which is confusing to the outside observer, but obviously doesn't matter to those who play it. Another interesting fact is that there are several generations of Tournament. The old ones only have a 10-ball scoreboard, the new ones have a set and timeout indicator. The track surface is sandblasted glass, amine the ball is quite sticky, which means that almost any shot can be made with relative ease. The rubber jaw is very short, which makes it easy to make wall passes, while the dummy's legs are quite "spoony", so it's great for making shot passes.
Benefits of the Rosengart Tournament Foosball Table
Let's start with the good, players who have played Leo, P4P or Garlando will find it relatively easy to adapt, simply because it looks as if the table is assembled from their parts. This is no coincidence, the manufacturing is also done abroad, so the elements will be familiar. The style of play can be fast, shot-passing, American-style, or brushtouch European, which means that it is relatively easy to switch to Rosengart with previous experience of foosball.
In fact, all kinds of shots can be made on it, quite typical for draw and wall, but pins and snake can also be shot with the dummies, as well as passes. The built-in lamp is quite good, and as it is neon, it is likely to be a timeless solution. I wouldn't bet on it because I don't really have any long-term experience with these, as I know of only one in Hungary at the moment, and that is only a few months old. You also have to remember that it's part of the table, which means it's included in the price, so it's roughly You save 150-200 EUR compared to other tables. The weight of the table is not bad, it could be a little heavier, but it's pretty stable, about like the Leonharts. Since the legs are in the corners and made of metal they don't move much, this one is also held on by 4 screws, they are pretty stiff, I can't get into that part of the table.

The ball is worth talking about a bit more, because it basically feels like a re-labelled Leonhart. Pretty good grip, good weight, relatively round, definitely one of the better ones. Not so much a merit between the crappy Garlando and the fluffy lightweight egg P4P balls. The goalposts here are metal, like the new version of the Ullrich Sport tables used in competition, but made of a thinner "spar" material. At least it's not plastic, so there's a good chance it won't come apart. Rubber tyres are thin and very quiet, so if you want one for a condominium, this is ideal, but line the hood with something, because it's anything but quiet.
The disadvantages of the Rosengart Tournament foosball table
I'll start with the black soup, the quality. Unfortunately, it's pretty sparse, and I have seen at least 3 different versions of the Tournament in one tournament. The most striking example of this is there is a table where the ball falls between the back row and the wall, while it does not fall over another table. Fun fact: at some tables, you can also drop a ball in a two-ball event by placing the ball on the plastic buck, pushing it out from under the ball and putting it into play.
I also didn't like the fact that since there is no counterweight in the head of the dummies, they cannot be turned horizontally, just by standing upside down. This in itself would not be a problem, if the ball didn't bounce so badly. For example, in the goalkeeping competition, we shot our own pieces in the head several times, forcing us to rubber up the lines against each other. The toy bounces brutally, when I kicked a wrist shot at the goalpost, the ball flew over the pitch and into my own goal several times. On the goalkeeper line, the players can't turn around, in return the ball can't bounce over the goal like on the Leonhartons.
But the part of the table I hate the most is the handle. Imagine a thick, hardwood polygon that not only cuts the palm, but also slides like ice. Without a grip, it is virtually unplayable if you use a pin-based shot. Both the figures and the handle are fixed with a pin, i.e. you will need a knockout tool for all installations, in addition, the dummies break easily, and can split sideways as well as at the neck. In competition I have seen a dummy simply split in two after a shot. This is more of a problem than with P4P in the sense that while the head of the dummy tends to fall off because of the counterweight and can still be shot, the Rosengart simply turns off the bar. It's worth stocking up on them, as well as sticks.

There are no accessories for the table even on the official site, but if you buy a Home Tablet, you should definitely buy a lamp for it. For a universal lamp, for example. KickerLight 4ALL is what you can put on it.
The Rosengart Tournament foosball table in our country
There are practically no such tables here at home, except for the MultiTable clubbot, where you can play on Rosengart since mid-October 2023, finally making the sport available to the general public. There are at least 3 big tournaments a year Bratislava, or Trnavaboth locations are a two-hour drive from Budapest. In Bratislava is the Foosbar where you can play on a variety of tables, including Rosengarts. Every year, 2-3 international tournaments are held in the Czech capital, Prague is.
Summary
I certainly wouldn't choose the Rosengart as my first table if I wanted to compete, because I think the Leonharts and Ullrich Sports are of higher quality. But for a second table, yes, after one of the German ones, mainly because there are many high-quality, multi-day races within a few hours' drive that are worth going to. With good basic technique, it is easy to adapt to Slovakia's national pride.
