On 20 May, something never seen before in the Hungarian foosball world happened on Budapest's Erzsébet Square: the Heineken and csocso.eu team had a real foosball marathon and a record-breaking event, with 7,5 m long foosball table was one of the highlights of the launch of the Champions League in Budapest. The event brought together 642 people played together in one day, and more than 700 goals were scored, the latter one validated by the Hungarian Records Association, so it is official Hungarian Record. Preparations: how is the country's biggest foosball table being built?

We „nested” the bearings, screwed on the bearing caps, and adjusted a lot of other things that you never have to do on a traditional or XXL foosball table, but that's one of the drawbacks of custom-made tables.
Heineken Foosball Marathon: more than foosball
The Heineken Foosball Marathon was embedded in the capital's atmosphere of the Champions League final, and this context was felt in everything. The marquee on Elisabeth Square was transformed into a real foosball experience centre on Saturday, as countless pages - 24-hu, the RTL or the Telex - also reported.

Celebrities and BL atmosphere
The star turnout for the event was not negligible. Present were Roland Juhász former national football team, Lili Regán DJ, Lady Thirsty content producer and Izabella Újvári national footgolf player. The toughest challenge is a three-time world foosball champion but the professional riders also gave a demonstration. Presenter of the event Oliver Lenzsér was there to pull the whole day's programme together and keep the atmosphere buoyant.
In connection with the Champions League final, the participants they also had the chance to take a photo with the official BL trophy, and to close the day 2 tickets for the BL final have been drawn, which is no small gift.
